"Our generation has more access to knowledge, to the Bible, to one another than at any other time in history. We have ever increasing levels of education.
But are we experiencing the reality of God and reflecting His Kingdom in everyday life, in our homes, on our streets, in our work and in our nations?
January always challenges us to make New Year resolutions – they often involve us pushing ourselves to try harder, to work harder, to try and be more knowledgeable, to try and be nicer – but come February we are exhausted and old behaviours creep back. Transformation was only superficial!!
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” (2 Cor 2:17-18)
At the heart of real transformation is “seeing the Lord”. As we focus on Him we begin to reflect his likeness around us. As we hope in the Lord, we begin to see His Kingdom around us. As we choose Christ moment by moment our hearts and minds are renewed".
Dus minder informatie en meer tijd met onze Vader!!
